I grew up in the Fort Payne area of Northeast Alabama. After moving five hours from home to attend Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi, I was introduced to my husband, Cody. During this time, he began attending Christ Church and eventually joined. In 2018, I married into the Christ Church family. We currently live in Clay, with our two children and our dog. We have loved the community at Christ Church. There have been men and women that have welcomed us into their homes, prayed for us, and have been transparent as we all have walked through life together. We have loved working with the children and youth as Sunday school teachers and mentors. We have also enjoyed being a part of the mission work of the church. Both of these experiences have given us opportunities to learn what it means to be members of the church - members that live intentionally, right where God has them.
